CHONGQING-PHILIPPINES CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT INC. established in March 2022, was founded by Dr. Liao Yong, a Chongqing native who has been residing in the Philippines for 17 years. Our aim is to facilitate tourism, education, and cultural exchanges between China and the Philippines, fostering mutual understanding among the people and enhancing both nations' commercial and cultural collaborations.

        Positioned within the education field, our mission is to facilitate international educational cooperation and exchange between Philippine universities and Chinese institutions. We aim to introduce advanced teaching equipment from China to Philippine institutions, while also integrating the international talent cultivation system of the Philippines into Chinese universities. This synergy fosters international applied technology talent development and strengthens international employability.

        To date, we have established collaborative relationships with over 50 Chinese universities, encompassing student and scholar exchanges, joint research projects, joint doctoral programs, and faculty development. We have also established 18 provincial and municipal offices nationwide. Annually, we enroll over 1000 Chinese students to study in the Philippines. The Chongqing United Front Work Department, Wanzhou District Education Commission, and the Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing have recognized and supported our efforts. We are currently planning the construction of a Chongqing-Philippines public training base, the assistance project for the Luban Workshop, and the cooperative establishment of Sino-Philippine engineering and technical disciplines. These initiatives aim to facilitate Philippine engineering and technical students' internships in Chongqing using the advanced equipment of Chinese universities, while Chinese students study English in the Philippines. This forms an international talent development platform for students from both China and the Philippines.

        Next, CHONGQING-PHILIPPINES CULTURAL DEVELOPMENT INC. will prioritize advancing cooperation between China and the Philippines in tourism and between the local governments of both countries, fostering political and economic cooperation between the two nations.
